Sorrento lemons grow in the area along the Amalfi Coast. They are known for their thick, lumpy, aromatic peel and, locally, they are mainly used to make Limoncello.

San Mauro uses these lemons to make Novolio al Limone di Sorrento. The yellow lemon peel is removed by hand and put in the oil. Once the olive oil has been infused with the essential lemon oil, it is then filtered.

This results in a fresh olive oil with a beautiful lemon flavour and aroma. It’s delicious with salads, pasta dishes, and fish and white meat.
